On April 18th, 2024, the McKechnie Family LIFE Home hosted an open house, providing an opportunity for guests to explore the facility’s research endeavors. Attendees engaged with researchers, robots, and various technologies, while faculty, post-docs, graduate, and undergraduate students presented research demonstrations. Notable guests such as Jim and Karen McKechnie, Michael Vitoux, Cheryl Hanley-Maxwell, Dean of the College of Applied Health Sciences, Susan Martinis, Vice Chancellor of Research and Innovation, and Jean Driscoll, Assistant Dean for Advancement in the College of Applied Health Sciences, were notably impressed by the breadth of projects and technological advancements showcased. The event facilitated fruitful exchanges of ideas between guests and researchers, offering insights into potential future endeavors.
