Nimit Kapadia is a Masters’ student in the Department of Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is specializing in Computer Science and Advanced Analytics. His research work includes contributions to Data Science, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Extended Reality (XR), financial engineering and medical cyber-physical systems. Nimit’s professional experience spans across various roles such as Data Scientist at JP Morgan & Chase and Artificial Intelligence Researcher at Hitachi Ltd. Currently, he is working in the field of healthcare education by working on an LLM-based VR nurse training simulator that aims to enhance nurse training through VR immersive simulations.
