Qiyuan is a masters student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Industrial Engineering and currently working on his thesis. As a graduate research assistant in the HXRI Lab, his research focuses on using human factors methodologies to design, develop, and evaluate VR applications to enhance cognitive, social, and activity engagement for older adults. He is interested in human-centered design and human-computer interaction for aging, as well as human factors and user experience research. He served as a consumer quantitative researcher at Ipsos.
