The Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) at the University of Illinois proudly hosted the IISE 2024 North Central Regional Conference on February 16th. This annual gathering is a key event for Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) professionals and students, drawing participants from six Midwest states. The conference offered an enriching platform for more than 120 attendees to present undergraduate research, engage in networking, visit industry sites, and gain insights from experts in the ISE field.

Dr. Gupta presented a talk titled “Human Computer Interaction Framework for eXtended Reality”. In his talk, he detailed the framework and shared his current research and accomplishments, demonstrating the potential impact of the HXRI framework for applications in healthcare.
